In his role as Chief Financial Officer, Steve has responsibility for all financial matters within Ordnance Survey.
Steve brings a wealth of finance and commercial experience to OS, having held senior finance and commercial roles across a variety of sectors, both in the UK and internationally. He spent 17 years at Vodafone, where he was Finance Director for the IoT, Cloud and Security Business, and also spent four years in the Netherlands where he led Enterprise Commercial Management, responsible for pricing, distribution, indirect partners and marketing.
After Vodafone, Steve joined British Airways, where he led the Commercial Finance team, was a Pension Trustee Director and sat on the Board of BA Holidays. Most recently, Steve has been Group CFO of a high-growth start-up, supporting the Board to raise funds and expand the business internationally.
Steve is a Chartered Accountant, having qualified in 2001 with PwC.
