We present detailed geo-referenced plans of archaeological sites using OS MasterMap and OS OpenData products in conjunction with GPS plans prepared by our staff.
A report is prepared for each site and the figures contain a 1:250 000 scale location plan, a 1:1000 scale site plan and a 1:100 scale detailed plan using OS MasterMap Topography Layer.
We use OS OpenData in conjunction with data supplied by the local Historic Environment Record office for presenting plans that plot surrounding archaeological sites and listed buildings. This contributes to precision recording of excavated archaeology, which can be accurately located and researched.
