Request for information - Ref No: FOI221069

Request

Thank you for your email of 24 February 2022, requesting information from Ordnance Survey in accordance with the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) 2000, as set out in the extract below:

“Please could you send through details on the existing Contract Cleaning agreement you have and when it will be available for re-tender and where the tender will be posted”

Our response

It is not clear from your request the exact ‘details’ you require on our existing contract for cleaning, however, under the duty to provide information and assistance in accordance with section 16 of the FOIA we can confirm the following:

Cleaning Services are provided as part of our total Facilities Management Contract with CBRE, which runs until June 2026 and was published to the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) via the framework route.

If you require any further details, please state the specific contract details you require.

The contract will be due for renewal in 2026, we do not hold any information regarding where the tender will be posted.

  • Failed to tell you whether or not we hold the information
  • Failed to provide the information you have requested
  • Failed to explain the reasons for refusing a request

The Internal Review Officer will not have been involved in the original decision. They will conduct an independent internal review and will inform you of the outcome of the review normally within 20 working days, but exceptionally within 40 working days, in line with the Information Commissioner’s guidance.

The Internal Review Officer will either: uphold the original decision, provide an additional explanation of the exemption/s applied or release further information, if it is considered appropriate to do so.
